About Martí Moreno

Martí Moreno is a singer-songwriter, ambient composer and producer from Valencia, Spain residing in the Twin Cities. In the last 10 years he has written, produced and released 4 solo singer-songwriter albums and 2 ambient albums. In addition to his solo project, Martí Moreno has also collaborated as a writer and musician in the album Johannes and The Secret Life by the band of the same name.

In late 2024 he started working at Midwestern Records in what will be his biggest and most ambitious release yet “L’Esprit De L’Escalier” (Fall 2025)

This is a rock tune with ironic takes on what it means to "grow up" in a society that forces us into isolation.

Inspired by the tons of trash people leave behind after celebrating San Juan.

San Juan wil be the first single of my upcoming @midwesternrecords LP release "L'Esprit De L'Escalier".

San Juan is a rock song with a biting critique disguised as a "gentle" refusal to romanticize human behaviors. The song speaks of enviromental decay and cultural stagnation. The inspiration to write it came from seeing pictures of Valencia's Malvarrosa beach full of trash after the San Juan celebrations in 2024.
